A reporter with TV Africa News, Oscar David Kwame Akaba has finally left the zone of celibacy after tying the knots with Esinam Seraphine Bedie at the Bediekope palace near Ehi in the Ketu North Municipality of the Volta Region, on Friday, 13th August, 2021.
The seasoned media marketer and parliamentary correspondent, Kwame Akaba was full of inexplicable joy following the exchange of the nuptial vows between himself and his lover, Esinam. Clad in beautiful kente outfits, the newly joined couple were exploding with smiles during the lavished traditional ceremony over the weekend.
The royal customary union between the two lovers also saw the families of Akaba and Bedie coming together to exchange pleasantries in an elaborate display of tradition and culture, amidst feasting, merrymaking and reverberating rounds of music.
The event, which was attended by friends and relatives of the two lovers was interspersed with beautiful displays of Anlo tradition, much to the delight of the excited guests.
Reacting to the tons of congratulatory messages from friends and well wishers, the couple expressed gratitude to the Almighty God, and poured their heartfelt appreciations to their family members for their unflinching support, guidance, pieces of advice and relentless prayers.
Esinam Seraphine Bedie is an educationist with a distinct passion for the children, the aged, the underprivileged and the marginalised in society. Apart from her occupation as an educationist, Esinam also runs a thriving catering establishment, known as the ‘B Royal Catering Service’. She’s also a staunch Christian who believes in the empowerment of women in all spheres.
The union between Esinam and the energetic media marketer and journalist, David Oscar Kwame Akaba was climaxed with fervent intercessions from the two families, who asked for God’s guidance, protection and goodness in the union o their son and daughter.
